Terms & Conditions
By booking a service with Eco Scrub, you agree to our terms and conditions, which outline our commitment to reliability, safety, and transparency. From cancellations and access to payment terms and service standards, our policies are designed to protect both you and our team, ensuring every clean runs smoothly and professionally.
1. Services
ECO SCRUB agrees to provide professional cleaning services including regular domestic cleans, monthly cleaning packages, one-off deep cleans, and end of tenancy cleaning as booked by the Client.
2. Booking and Deposit
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for all monthly cleaning packages, one-off deep cleans, and end of tenancy cleans.
Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit is received by ECO SCRUB.
3. Payment
For domestic cleans (single, non-monthly cleans), full payment is due on the day of the cleaning service.
For monthly, deep, and end of tenancy cleans, the remaining balance after the deposit must be paid on the day of the cleaning.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
ECO SCRUB reserves the right to retain the deposit in case of late cancellations for monthly, deep, or end of tenancy cleans.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled cleaning will result in the loss of the deposit. If the Client cancels with less than 48 hours’ notice, they will be liable to pay 50% of the total cleaning cost, unless ECO SCRUB is able to fill the slot with another booking.
Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance and are subject to availability.
5. Access to Property
The Client must provide access to the property at the agreed service time. ECO SCRUB is not responsible for missed appointments due to lack of access and reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee if access is denied without prior notice.
6. Liability and Care
ECO SCRUB will exercise reasonable care while performing cleaning services. The Company is not liable for damage to items with pre-existing conditions or fragile possessions not disclosed by the Client prior to cleaning.
7. Client Satisfaction
If the Client is dissatisfied with the service, ECO SCRUB must be notified within 24 hours to arrange a follow-up or remedial cleaning at no additional cost.
8. Changes to Service
Any amendments to the service requirements must be agreed upon in writing by both ECO SCRUB and the Client.
9. Environmental Policy
ECO SCRUB is committed to reducing environmental impact by using eco-friendly, biodegradable cleaning products and sustainable practices wherever possible. The Company strives to minimize waste, conserve water, and promote recycling during all cleaning activities. Clients agree to support these initiatives by allowing the use of green cleaning products in their premises.
10. Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. Any outstanding payments for completed services remain payable immediately.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
